We have had a few families worried about the age group changes.
Age groups have been re-branded! We want to emphasise that this change doesn’t affect our members; it’s simply a 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚 change. We now offer U7’s through to U18’s, plus Seniors.

🔷 Little Athletes joining our centre this season will go straight into the U7 age group (formerly U6). All athletes will compete against those born the same year as them throughout BOTH the summer, and winter seasons. This seasons U7 athletes are born in 2020.

🔷 Athletes in other age groups will remain with the same athletes they’ve competed with in previous years. However, they will effectively ‘skip’ an age group 𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮. Athletes will still use the specifications of the age group they would have gone into if no changes were made. For example, if you were an U11 athlete in the 2024/2025 season, you will now be an U13 athlete in the 2025/2026 season, but you will use the specifications that the U12s used last season.

🔷 Athletes will now fall into these categories:
🔹Little Athletes U7-U12 (BORN 2020-2015)
🔹Junior Athletes U13-U18 (BORN 2014-2009)
🔹Seniors U20/Open/Masters (for athletes that have aged out and parents wishing to get back into athletics.)
