Relays is open to U9-Up

The cost per entry is $20.00 per team (split between team members)

Entries close at 11:59pm Wednesday 2 December 2020.

State Relay Championships is a competition between Centres. Athletes in the Track events are not allowed to compete in the Field events.

First priority must be to enter track teams.

Track Relays
Centres may nominate a team for either the track relay, field relay, or both subject to age group requirements.

Each Centre is eligible to nominate one team (minimum of four maximum of five members) for the Track events.

Teams receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for the first three places. Centres compete each year for the Perpetual Shields, and will be allocated in the manner decided by the Board of Management. Points gained by Track Relay Teams will go towards a Girls Trophy and a Boys Trophy.

Athletes in the U9 to U17 age groups may participate as follows:

• U9-U15, U17: 4 × 100m relay (heats and finals)
• U9-U10: 4 × 200m relay (timed finals only)
• U11-U15, U16-U17: 4 × 400m relay (timed finals only)

Field Relays
Each team shall comprise of a minimum of 2, and maximum of 4, athletes from the same age group and gender. Points gained by the Field Relay Teams will go towards a joint Girls & Boys Trophy.

Athletes in the U9 to U17 age groups may participate as follows:

• U9 Girls & Boys – Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Turbo Javelin
• U10 Girls & Boys – Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Turbo Javelin
• U11 Girls & Boys – Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U12 Girls & Boys – Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U13 Girls – Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U13 Boys – Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U14 Girls & Boys – Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U15 Girls & Boys – Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U16-U17 Girls – Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
• U16-U17 Boys – Shot, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump
